kcw summer 2013: day three

Day three is usually the day you start blowing me away. And this time it’s no different! I love that the summer clothes you are sewing have these great, simple shapes. Then the fabric you choose has such saturated colors that the clothes just pop! You guys are good.

Can you pick any favorites from the pool? Or have you sewn something this season that you are particularly proud of?

Karin, thank you so much. I am blown away. I was not convinced about the colours at first as they have this kind of sheen. But the more I see them together the more fab they look. They are both different colours woven together. Now thanks to a broken printer the next project will have to be made up as I go along. eeek!

There have been so many beautiful things popping up in the pool – and I was excited to see my Roller Skate Dress up there, and the Pink Pants the other day. Thanks very much for organising, and for building this lovely new site, I have really enjoyed sewing along. Next up: Bubble Shorts.

I love this challenge! 2 days ago I sewed an orange chiffon+satin dress (I’m not sure does it still counts?) and I’m planning more 🙂
