The last day of KCW is here! You only need to put in one more hour in front of the machine (or with the seam ripper). You know that project you dread picking up because you think it’s going to take forever, then you actually pick it up and it takes no time at all? I bet there are 2 or 3 of those projects stacked up next to your sewing machine right now. Today’s the day! Just sit down and power through those hems, or necklines, or buttonholes. You can do it!

1. slouchy cardigan by Vanessa 2. animal skirt by Elke 3. hoodie by Ingrid 4. flamingo shirt by Orsolya

I mean look what all these people did. They put their worrying and dreading and over-thinking aside and made gorgeous clothes for their kids! I’ll stop giving advice now, and let you go sew. What are your plans for the last day of KCW?

I’m grateful I got to participate this time around! I haven’t been able to post anything yet, but I’ve spent every night working on one thing or another for my son! It’s been a lot of fun and SO inspiring to see the other projects being posted!

Thanks for the encouragement and excitement of KCW. I finished 2 skirts, 3 dresses, 3 shirts, and have another dress mostly finished (plus I sewed a top for me) all in a week.
