spring

day one: kcw april 2014

Woo Hoo! It’s the first day of Kid’s Clothes Week! Are you gearing up to sew? Printing and taping out patterns like crazy? Washing fabric and ignoring all other laundry? Ready to sit down for an hour each day and sew?

kcw april 2014: day one

1. yellow spring showers jacket by Julie 2. raglan tees by Lydia 3. bubble shorts and shandiin tank by Monica 4. soleil dress by Heidi

Some people have the distinct advantage of being a whole day ahead. Lydia lives in New Zealand and sewed up not one, but three t-shirts on the first day! Some of those lovely garments up there were sewn earlier, I’m sure, but everyone uses KCW a little differently. Whether you are just starting to pick out fabrics or putting the finishing touches on something you started last KCW (umm, me) we’re excited to see what you sew!

I was featured on KCW!

If your lovely work is featured on the KCW during the week, I made a little badge for you (to put on your blog, or hang on your wall). If your garment doesn’t end up on the blog, whatever. It will end up on your kid and that’s what KCW is all about!

the fabric worm winner on kcw

The Fabricworm giveaway is now closed. There were over 2200 entries to win some lovely organic knits from Fabricworm. Wow! And the winner is…number 1660, Cyndi F. Congratulations!  The See Kate Sew giveaway ends tomorrow! Don’t forget to enter. Good Luck and Happy KCW!
