It’s the last day of Kid’s Clothes Week!

Only one more hour to sew and then another KCW will come to a close. Did you find your hour each day this week? Did you begrudgingly sit down in front of your machine only to look up and realize many hours had passed?! Or were you counting the minutes while ripping out stitches? It’s hard to find time to think somedays much less plan, cut, sew, press, and photograph. Taking an hour each day to do what you love is difficult and wonderful. You should be very proud of yourself!

If it all fell apart the second day or if you sat back and watched this season, I hope you are inspired to join us in the fall!  If you have been so busy sewing that you didn’t click the sign up button yet, go do it now! We will pick a random participant to win this awesome giveaway. I will be back later this week to announce the winner and wrap up another fantastic season of KCW!

I loved that this season’s KCW was the same week I had a sewing “camp” for my daughters and their friends. The theme of Kid Art really helped me look harder at the creativity of children. I definitely got my hour of sewing in everyday, but it was mainly ripping out stitches of little ones. I got a few garments made. I wrote about the camp experience on my blog:
